You are bidding on a 2006 Mercedes CLS500 with only 22k original miles. This sedan is fully loaded with options such as: power windows, power locks, power seats, leather, heated seats, cd player, ABS, Sport wheels, automatic transmission and much more. This Mercedes needs body work. This Mercedes is sold AS-IS. This is a one-owner car and has no accident history. No insurance company was ever involved. She fell asleep and drove off the road two driveways before her house and hit a fence. If you know a cheap place to get parts and are slightly handy you could be a CLS500 owner for a fraction of the cost. I tried taking it apart to fix it but it is simply above my experience. I have all the parts removed as well. Im told the headlights and the bumper could be fixed by a professional but I can't honestly say for sure. I have the factory option list if you have any questions. color i call silver but is closer to a light mocha color. its a brown tone silver. Please just understand that I will answer these questions the best I can. If I was a professional and knew every detail I would fix the car myself as I hoped I could. There has been a few questions that have helped me to be more informed of the damages and so I wish to share those answers with everyone. Also by all means message me for specific photos and questions. I am mechanically able to do some things and with guidance I'm happy to dig further to help satisfy pre purchase questions. So with that being said.... The car totally powers up but does not crank over. I'm told this is normal in a Mercedes collision. When a air bag blows I'm told the car blows a fuse to kill the engine. The battery has gone dead and I have the broken alternator removed and the power wire safely taped up. The mount for the alt. is also cracked. (SEE PHOTOS). Due to all the items I have taken off and the fuse issue the car doesnt currently drive. With new pieces replaced and fuse location diagnosed I don't see any reason it shouldn't run perfect. It was in no mud, water, etc. When the car got to me on the tow truck and battery was up the car was in park now that the car has dead battery and I took it out of park that day it doesnt stay in park. Im assuming this is also electrical as the transmission and undercarraige all look to be untouched and in good condition. (SEE PHOTOS OF UNDERCARRIAGE) The right front frame rail and minor damage at what appears to me to only be at the very end where bumper support bolts up. (See Photos) I hope this helps everyone.
