Up for auction is a very popular and well known 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Hemi Tribute.From the cover of Mopar Muscle to full featured artices in many popular magazines this caris just plain BAD! Back in 2004 this Mopar was the first Bias-Ply tire car to run in the 10 Second1/4 mile Range. 10.86 @ 132.01 MPH. 1969 Plymouth Hemi Road Runner Tribute. Former F.A.S.T. competitor. This was the first factory appearing car to break the 10 second barrier. This Road Runner has now been retired to drive on the street. The car was originally a 383 4-speedPerformance Red car. Although the car has been returned to the street, the Hemi remains in race form. The original numbers matching 4-speed trans and 8 3/4 4:10 rear axle have been re-installed. The wheels have been changed to Magnum 500s. The roll cage has been removed. The ignition has been converted back from a digital 7 to a 6AL. The front brakes are Willwood disc with factory drums on the rear.
