Up for auction is a beautiful 1966 Ford Mustang that is numbers matching. She has the original 289, and a C4 automatic transmission. The car is loaded with options like a factory bench seat, A/C, power steering, and she is RUST FREE. This is a great example of a desert car! The car starts right up and runs great. No smoking, knocking or any leaks from the motor. The A/C blows out ice cold, and all of the gauges work just like they should. This is a great example of a very nice daily driver. The paint is just a few months old, and it is the original light blue metallic. The car is a true classic, and you should get this one for spring cruising! Or fly in and drive her home! She starts right up, and no smoking or knocking! There is about 20K on the motor now. The car has a 2V carb also. The engine runs nice and cool, even with the A/C going. The car has the original style exhaust. The belts and hoses were all recently replaced, along with a full tune up! The transmission is a smooth shifting C4, that is sealed up nice and tight with no problems at all. INTERIOR/ EXTERIOR: The interior is very clean overall. The seats do not have any rips or tears, and just show normal minor wear. The seatbelts all work correctly, windows all roll up and down correctly, and the locks work too. The dash pad has one small crack in it on the passenger side. The headliner is good, and the carpet is good, just could use a little cleaning on the drivers side. The carpet is about a year old. The door panels are good. The lights all work, and all the gauges work. The turn signal switch is brand new too. The radio is not hooked up right now, and the horn decided to stop working a few days ago. The exterior is very clean. The car has brand new tires, and a paint job that is basically brand new, (2 months old). The chrome trim is all in good shape. The glass is good also but, the windshield has a small chip on the passenger side. The floors in the car are awesome, with no signs of rust anywhere onthe car!! Frame rails, torque boxes, and trunk are all rust free! The exterior lights all work correctly also. The sway arm bushings are new and the car has had a recent alignment. The brakes have just been redone with all new hardware, shoes and new drums. INFO: This car is being sold "AS IS" with no warranty due to it's age. The car is 46 years old, and is a Daily Driver type car. There is a $1000 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of the auction closing, and the remaining balance is due in 3 days after the auction closes.
