Custom 1981 Jeep Scrambler with 5.3 Vortec Engine This Vehicle is part mountain Goat, part tractor and the rest Jeep. No not really but drives and pulles like one. First a 1981 Jeep scrambler was taken in late 2000 and 2001 and refitted, repainted, rebuilt using almost all new parts. Was fitted wih a 2001 5.3 Vortec Chevy Engine that had only 1,800 miles on it. The trans a 3/4 ton 4L60E . The total miles on her now are 25,700 ,Transfer Case NP203, Curry Def that had 0 miles, Dana 44 rear S axle with 370 Gear & Detroit Locker, new Street-1 wirring harness ( again 2000/2001), adapters from Advennie Adapters, Custom Dual Exaust with Flowmaster Mufflers, custom made motor mounts, Performance Mena Ar, Hydrolic Clutch, Lever Lock Hydrolic Emergency Brake, 4 speed with reverse makes it a 5 speed, 1st gear is granny gear great for climbing, 15 gallon fuel tank, Fuel / MPH / AMP / Oil Pressure / Temp gauges, Be Cool Aluminum Rad, New windsheild, rubber wind sheild, chrome brackets, chrome hinges, Chrome Front Rad Cover, SS Bolts, Pictures tell it all. Has original side wooden rails, comes with original seats and spare back tire carrier. Also come with half doors for both sides, Warn Wrench X8000i with remote, backsliding glass, Frame has channel welded to it for extra strength. Inside and outside was painted Yellow in 2001, Ouitside paint job could use a buffingout but is a 7/8 out of 10. They are collector's items and very popular. Just re-list it. We've had this one for years and it's just been sitting in the garage for a long time. I finally talked my husband into letting me list it on ebay. He never drives it and I'm tired of it sitting in the garage taking up space. I think he will cry when it is gone though.
