1953 Ford F-100 Custom Cab Anniversary Edition Original Automatic This is an intact 53 F-100 Custom Cab Anniversary Edition with the ever indestructible inline six engine and its original automatic transmission. In the year that we've had the truck we did find the time to get it running. It didn't even need very much just new fuel and water pumps and a carburetor. All are original equipment. The torque converter seal on the transmission leaks, but it does run and drive. There have been no modifications at all to this truck, and it is not missing anything. The frame is solid and has been painted by the previous owner to protect it. The biggest problem this truck has is that a tree hit the roof while at the previous owner's home. The roof is still solid and is repairable as you can see in the pictures. For the past year it has been garaged to save it from the elements and any more trees. It has the standard cab corner holes and the hood's front edge needs to be repaired. I do have the front edge repair piece which is included with the truck. The cab floors and firewall are solid and rust free. The bottoms of the doors do need some attention but are not bad. The fenders are all original and solid. It does need a new tailgate. The running boards in excellent condition. It has a new six volt battery for it's original six volt system. The interior also has not been tampered will. There are no extra holes in the dash for other gauges or radio. The original bench seat is still there. Amazingly it even still has the original cardboard liner for the glove box. It would not take much to make this unique truck road worthy and looking cool. Bill of sale only.
