- F250 Work Truck, Box (Utility) Bed with Pipe Rack - Pictured is my red and white 1990 Ford F250 with a utility (box) bed and metal pipe rack for sale. The Utility bed needs a little work (just some new latches and hinges) but the truck itself runs very good. It now has a full tow package with 2" ball (not pictured). The top end was re-built a few years ago. The truck has been regularly maintained & serviced. All the lights & electrical work fine. The tires are in good shape and have plenty of tread left. The utility or box bed is the one that you see on other plumbing or irrigation trucks. I have used it for the past 5 years for my irrigation business. I still have many of the compartments labeled with which irrigation fittings went in a certain spot, but you can easily change this of course. It has a full metal pipe rack with nice, ratcheting tie-down straps and can safely carry full 20 foot long PVC and 21 foot length galvanized pipe. I've had up to 2,000 feet of PVC strapped down with no problem several times ( five 200ft bundles each of 1" & 3/4" pipe. 1,000 feet on each side). The box bed or utility bed on this truck alone is worth over $4,000 if you were to buy a new one. Also the pipe-rack is worth around $1,500.
