You are bidding on a very well preserved 1992 4X4 Geo Tracker. I bought this vehicle off of its seconder owner in 2004 and was very familiar with its history because the first owner was my co-worker for 20 years. Since then, I’ve rebuilt the engine doing the assembly work myself and a local machine shop doing the machine work. The engine has new pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump, water pump, timing belt and seals. The valves have been resurfaced. The cam and the rocker arms are original. I put about 15,000 miles on it since rebuilding it. I also installed new ball joints, stabilizer strut bushings, front axle boots, wheel bearings, upgraded rotors and calipers. The brake pads were put on last fall. The front struts came off a tracker with only 50,000 miles on it and do not leak. The rear shocks are about a year old. The clutch, pressure plate, throw out and pilot bearing were replaced and the flywheel was resurfaced about 1,000 miles ago. While I had the trans out, I also replaced the transmission and transfer case seals, clutch cable and rear universal joints. The Walker muffler was installed a month ago. The catalytic converter is original. The paint is original and getting thin in two places. The car was never in an accident but the front right fender had a dent in it which I hammered and dollied out and it is very hard to see. Overall, the car is in great shape with minor scratches and dings. The seats are out of my other 1992 Tracker LSI that I sold in 2004. The 4X4 works, the 5 speed trans shifts smooth and quiet. The AC is very cold. All differential and trans fluids have been replaced with synthetic oil. I have the original manual 4X4 hubs if you want to swap them. The convertible roof was replaced in 2004 with a new Old stock GM roof and is in great shape. This car can be driven anywhere, the title is clear and the PA inspection is good thru August 2012. The car also comes with a spare working computer processor. The radio works and has upgraded coaxial speakers. The car has the Suzuki optional overhead map light mounted above the interior rearview mirror. The windshield has three minor stone chips in it but still passes inspection. You can see one in the picture with the inspection stickers. The car also has a frame mounted trailer hitch with a two inch receiver. If you win this car, you can have the option of buying all my spare parts for $100 which include a good complete lower engine block with pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump & pan all assembled with 90,000 miles on it, a 5 speed transmission and 4X4 transfer case, distributor, head which needs a cam, throttle body injection, fuel pump and sender , front axles that need boots, flywheel and pressure plate, engine mounts, brand new never used heater core, machined brake rotors and drums, tie rods and center links, door seals and window track, hood, steering box , intake manifold and boxes of other hardware items that I salvaged off my other 1992 tracker.
