1962 Mercury Comet 2 door post. This car is not in restored condition. The body on this car is excellent shape with very few small little dings. This car has no rust other than surface rust. The exterior door handles have been "shaved" as you can see in the pic. I do not have the exterior door handles. It is missing the trunk lock, steering wheel button and the door panels other than that it is complete. It DOES NOT RUN the engine is a 200 6 cylinder wich I believe is original to the car and the transmission is an automatic I also believe it is original to the car. They both are sitting in place and not bolted down. The condition of the engine and motor is unknown but they are both there. The interior seats need recovered. The steering wheel has cracks. It does not have carpet and the floor pans are solid. Everthing on the dash is in very nice condition. All of the glass is good except for the windshield. One of the tires does not hold air. On Feb-21-12 at 17:25:08 PST, seller added the following information: I just found out that the engine is not original to this car.
