1984 Mercedes Benz 300 Turbo Diesel four door sedan. 170,000 miles. Grey, palamino interior, green pinstripe. One owner one driver. Engine and drivetrain in very good condition, starts and runs well, steering tight. All instruments and radio in working order. Sliding roof works well. 12,000 miles on tires. Interior in very nice condition, especially considering the age of the car, rear seat rarely used. Have all service records. Some replacements; Radiator @ 170k, Fuel return line @ 166k, Master cylinder @ 160k, Front brakes @ 164k, Oil pan gasket @ 164k, Alternator power steering a/c belts @ 164k, Glow plugs @ 164k, Alternator @ 164k. As you can see from pictures there is some rust around the quarters, this is really the only issue with the car, besides that it is a great runner with paint still in good condition. On Feb-17-12 at 05:39:08 PST, seller added the following information: Hi to all lookers and bidders, it has been brought to my attention that there is an accident report and a stolen vehicle report. The car was never stolen, my elderly mother in law "lost" her car in NYC after parking for a few hours. She could not find it, was sure she had left it where she was looking, then reported it to the police. It got towed a day later and they got it back. As far as the "accident" goes I will ask my father in law about that again, he does not recall any accident, certainly not one that would have been claimed through insurance. The report says that this occured in Lincoln, Nebraska? Car has never left east coast. To my knowledge the worst this car has ever had are a few scuffs and scrapes. Thank you.
