Vehicle Detail

It's time to downsize the toy box so with great reluctance up for auction is a pristine condition 1987 Honda Fat Cat TR200. I've sold bikes and cars before and usually I have to write a long list of what's wrong with them but for this one that's not the case. I have owned this bike for over 15 and it has spent every minute of it (when I wasn't riding it) in a climate controlled garage. There's no rust, the seat is perfect, the original paint looks great for its age and is all original with the exception of the kick stand and skid plate they're the original parts but I had them treated with a rough type of paint to prevent rust (not to cover it). This bike has extremely low hours on it however, it is started and I ride it around the neighborhood at least once or twice a week. Here's some pointers · BRAND NEW Dirt Devil ultra aggressive tread tires (Really, brand new as in less than 1 or 2 miles on them, had them installed about a month ago)· The electric start/choke work great · High/Low beam lights work great· battery holds a good charge· Backup kick starter works fine as well as the cylinder pressure release valve (makes it easier to kick)· Exhaust is in good condition and does have a spark arrestor· The 5 speed auto clutch shifts great· Oil changed regularly with fully synthetic oil· Clean title and I also have the original manual for it· I have 2 keys for it one is the original with the water-tight rubber fitting to keep water and dust out of the ignition· In the pictures it shows a water bottle on the handlebars I forgot to take them showing the small emergency gas tank that fits like a glove there so that will be sold with it as well· 1 previous owner who also rode it easy and kept it inside· The only thing I can think of that isn't perfect on the bike would be the covers on the front shocks have some cracking on them but it doesn't really affect the performance of bike. One thing to not if you look in the pictures at the right break handle there's a small wire with a screw on it it's just a part from a non related project I put there so I wouldn't lose it. I guess ebay doesn't allow me to put my phone number in the auction so my names Ray if you have any questions shoot me an email, Thanks and Happy Bidding! On Feb-08-12 at 20:14:35 PST, seller added the following information:I just realized that I forgot to mention anything about the brakes and just wanted to let everyone know they work great the bike has a foot brake for the rear wheel as well as a hand brake on either side of the bars for the font/rear wheels. I also wanted to address a questions one my friends brought up that I thought would be good to add; he wanted to know why I needed to have new tires installed the tires I replaced were in fact the factory originals since the air pressure on Fat Cats and bikes like them are low the tires will last 25+ years. The tires I replaced were still in decent condition but when I was talking to some other off-road enthusiasts they told me the factory tires did ok all around but where really unstable if you took it on pavement the ones I put on provide much more stability as well as providing better traction in even the worst mud, snow, sand etc. I hope that might clear up some of the questions anyone might have. If there's anything else you want to know just shoot me an email, thanks! On Feb-10-12 at 22:53:02 PST, seller added the following information: The battery it has was working fine and probably would for some time but the winner WILL receive a Fat Cat with not only new tires but a BRAND NEW BATTERY with a 15% higher capacity (the old one was a 6 amp, the new one is a 7 amp. I just figured that it was so close to perfect why not complete the package. On Feb-11-12 at 18:14:00 PST, seller added the following information: forgot to mention that I upgraded the filter to a dual stage UNI intake system you can see the difference in the picture below. The old ones on the left and the new is on the right.
