I am very fond of '77 thru '79 Coupe Devilles so it is difficult for me to sell this car. I have only owned it for about a month, and the only reason I'm selling it is because I need the money. Up for auction is a 1977 Cadillac Coupe Deville with approximately 89,200 original miles. The gentlemen I bought it from told me that he bought it from the original owner, which means I am the third owner. Exterior The car is a pretty light blue (non-metallic) with a dark blue vinyl top. The paint is original, and it is in good condition on the sides of the car, but the paint on the hood, roof and trunk is getting thin. The paint is so thin that surface rust (minor) is starting to appear on the edges on these areas. If I were to keep the car, I would only paint the hood, roof and trunk. There is absolutely no rust on the sides of the car. The plastic pieces that go between the rear fenders and rear upright bumper ends have been replaced, however the plastic pieces that go between the rear of the body and the rear bumper center section need replaced. They have not been replaced because they are all but hidden by the trunk lid. The rear bumper is in good condition, but the front bumper is better. The vinyl top is in good condition. The hood ornament is missing. Interior The leather seats are nice overall, especially for their age, but they do have some wrinkles and minor cracks. The armrests on the door panels are cracked and have tape on them. The headliner is not falling down, but it has several marks (scratches) on it. The power seats work, the power windows work, the power door locks work, the heat works. There is currently no radio in the dash because the previous owner had an aftermarket radio in the car, and he removed it prior to selling it to me. The original radio is in the trunk of the car. Mechanically The vehicle runs very good, but it runs a little rough until it gets warmed up. The car drives and handles nice. The transmission shifts good. The engine is quiet. The front tires are worn on the edges and need replaced. Also, when you turn on the turn signal indicators, the flashers come on. There are 89,000 original miles on the car, and the title indicates this. The Pennsylvania inspection recently expired. NO RESERVE! I MUST SELL THIS CAR! Thanks for looking at my auction.
