I am selling my beautiful 1974 Mercedes SL convertible that has been kept in immaculate condition.It is the very early 450 model with the first year for the big extended bumpers.It has been a pleasure driving this classic and will make a great little sports roadster for the new owner.It has always been reliable and has alot of life left in it,since it only has 46,000 plus actual miles.I do have all the original manuals,pamphlets,and mainainance booklet for its history.Always a California car and kept inside protected.It is 100% Rust Free and never in any accidents,which is a great plus if you are looking for a perfect original unmolested body. The black paint is extremely nice and definitely a croud pleaser.No particular marks anywhere on the paint.Perfectly straight original body with no fillers or changed panels on the car.Numbers matching car. The tan interior is super clean and really has no flaws at all.Perfect fitting seats.Nice carpets and even the small appointments in the interior are in nice condition.The color in the interior is still quite bright with no fading at all. The car runs,drives,and functions superbly.No funny noises,smoking,or leaks.Nice tires with original Mercedes silver wheels.It is just a pleasure to drive.It does have brand new front and rear shocks.Fairly new re-cored radiator,so no overheating. Trunk compartment is totally original.It still has the original spare wheel and tool kit.The original rubber mat is still fairly flexible and,believe it or not,still the original one from 1974.Trunk floors including the battery tray area are spotless.No rust and still has all the original paint from factory. Stainless bumpers are in very good condition.The rubber bumper ends do not have any splits or damages on them.The trim amd aluminum are still very shiny and ding free for the most part. Both tops are included with the car.The hardtop is in excellent condition.The black convertible top is brand new and in spectacular shape. I hope this go to an owner who can appreciate the car like I did for the couple of years I have owned it.It really is a great little convertible that are getting hard to get in this shape,especially for the age and model.It is a very fine automobile that would make a great future investment.
