VW Designed this car with an 18 gallon fuel tank! Ever since VW has given TDI models smaller fuel tanks to reduce their overall range. Not this one! If you keep the speed down it's been well known that this car will near 50 miles per gallon which will give you even more increased mileage! We've heard of people going well over 1000 miles to a tank in one of these cars! Granted you are not going to run this car until its completely empty each time which is what you'd have to do to see these numbers, but if you run it until the needle is pointing to empty you should have around two gallons left which means you can still go between 608 and 752 miles between the tank. Forget going 300-400 miles and having to fill up again! Fill this car's tank and forget it (at least for 600-700 miles)! This isn't your typical gas saving car that has a micro sized fuel tank!
