First Year 4-Speed Clutch model. Starts, shifts, steers great. Original 'flip-tail' seat in place, speedometer, tripometer, headlight, taillight, brakelight work, original tires, Handlebars still readily flip down, battery rubber in place. 1659 original miles. Has been a survivor that is unmolested. Evidence in place of a careful 40+years of a good life. Matching numbers bike. No smoke, solid clutch and runs out strong. The history (verbal): Purchased from original owner. His Dad bought new and it stayed with the now 50+ owner until recently. Winning bidder gets contact info. It seems unfair to "touch-up" this veteran, expect to see bootwear on the stator cover next to shifter, chrome pitting on fold-down bars, fenders and paint. See the closeup of top dent and a scratch. You will see replaced cables that are black, not factory grey. Has had topend re-do. All of this is readily corrected (quality seat covers are inexpensive) and it seemed best to let it be for now so new owner will appreciate the "patina" and be able to examine first hand the life already lived.
