HONDA SPORT CUB This Honda model C110 Sport Cub has frame #C110-444576, engine #C110F-163235, and the odometer reads 12,608 miles. It's been in my barn for 10-12 years and I bought it out of a barn (no idea how long it had been stored there). I will attempt to describe everything that's pertinent and if I don't cover something important to you, please ask questions before the last day of the auction. Having set for so long, the tires and most any other rubber pieces need replacing. Rims are rusty (surface), as is the exhaust and handlebars (bars aren't bad). The seat is original, although the cover has 2 bad spots on the top, edge wear in other areas. Gas tank has some rust on inside, picture makes it look worse than it is. Kneepads on tank are good, emblems are history. What looks like the original battery (?) is in place (Yuasa-Honda Wing) but obviously not functioning and cover is gone. The engine turns over (by turning the rotor/flywheel) but the shifter won't change gears and the kickstart won't crank the engine over (cases will have to be split, I don't think there's an easy fix but I haven't investigated the problem whatsoever). Cables will need to be replaced, grips,too and there is no chain/front fender. Lastly, there is NO TITLE, no hopes!! I will give you my personal "bill of sale" but if you live in Ohio, you know how difficult it is dealing with D.M.V. and I'm sure other states can be as non-yielding as Ohio. I'm not sure of the year, the frame number being 444576 might indicate 1964 but I don't know. Sorry, I cancelled the original auction but a question came up and I discovered the underside of the gas tank, petcock (left) side, is pretty rusted through - other side looks okay. The reason I'm selling this little "bike" is because I haven't done anything to restore it and my advancing age requires cutting back some interests. I can still remember racing a Sport Cub in Japan (1961), 50c.c. class, scrambles event as thought it were yesterday - what a rush for 17 year old back then.
