This Toyota FJ 60 Land Cruiser is in excellent shape mechanically and aesthetically. This truck is equipped to work and I have not abused this truck. I do not take it off road much. Only when I am making a living carving wood do I take it off road. This Fj has a real transmission and is geared like a log truck. It has four gears and will cruise down the highway at 75 running about 3100 rpm. I can go down a very steep hill in third gear and never use the brakes.I have owned it for 14 years and driven it everyday. I have also maintained it to very high standards. I bought it in 1998 and completely restored it investing over $20,000. I have recently had it repainted and undercoated. The body is near perfect. Everything works except the odometer which quit last winter. The miles therefore are not accurate. I would honestly guess that there are an additional 5000 miles on it and I think that is leaning to the high side of what I put on the vehicle. The trip odometer and tenth of a mile still work so I have been just letting it roll to get an Idea. The compression and sound of the motor is great. I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle any where. It has many modifications including a warn 8000 pound winch that can be mounted in the front or back of the truck. I have disconnects so it is very easy. There is an additional receiver hitch mounted to the bottom of the heavy duty winch tray so you can tow a trailer and winch onto it. it has an old man emu steering stabilizer a holly carburetor ( I also have the original carb that was working fine when I took it off) and a header. This cruiser runs better that any I have ever been in. It is spunky and sound mean with high end muffler.It has extended shackles and new springs with add a leaf so that is can tow a heavy load. It has Bilstines in the back and rancho front shocks. It has BF Goodwrench all terrian tires 33x 10.50 wo=ith less that 5000 miles on them.The original work to the truck was done by steve's off road in Soddy Daisy TN. Wally has done all maintenance on it in the last 10 years which has been very little. I have replaced the clutch, fuel pump and AC compressor and water pump and the radiator. It has an extra large oil pan. I put a brand new head on it at 90,000 miles.Head liner is in fair condition with a few small blemishes in the rear of the truck. The rear seat is perfect and passenger is good. the driver seat is a bit worn. The carpets have all been re dyed and look new! dash is great. radio works well. sony I think. You will not fine a landcruiser that looks this good and is equipped to go that is in this good of shape. The truck is tight and solid. It does not rattle and shake!
