Vehicle Detail

1975 Bricklin SV-1. Ford 351 Windsor. This car has barely been driven in 10 years. It has been in a garage and started regularly. In the last two months I've had it run through emissions and registered and have driven it quite a bit. Runs fantastic. Very smooth. Some rattles and squeaks. Heat and AC work. No leaks. Radio works. Entire car is stock including radio. All VIN's match. I added pictures of the undercarriage. You can see a little rust on the exhaust, but otherwise looks good. My mechanic says he would not recommend replacing exhaust at this time, but that may just be because rust isn't much of an issue here in the desert. It has likely been like that for a long time. The air doors are weak. They open all the way, but as you can see from the picture they don't stay all the way up and they need a little help to open that far. I have neither the time nor the talent to troubleshoot any more. All air lines and the regulator have been replaced and there are no leaks. I just discovered that one of the hinges for the passenger side door has no paint and has rust. It doesn't affect the movement of the door. The left headlight suddenly doesn't want to pop up. That's new in the last few months. The right one doesn't like to go all the way down by itself. I've seen how to fix them and again, I have neither the time nor the talent (although it doesn't look that hard). There are some nicks in the paint, a little spidering on the roof and three pieces of molding missing. I have one of them. Additional pictures available on request. So, I think I've covered everything. The car really is in pretty good shape and a lot of fun to drive. I just don't have the time for it anymore. The pictures were taken with a phone camera and leave a lot to be desired, particularly the ridiculous pixelation around the wheels.
