Vehicle Detail
Hello, You are bidding on an all black 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9L V8 engine. This truck is a beast and is loaded with tons of extras all listed below. Not only that but this truck has SUPER low miles on it for the year (107,607). Not only is it the meanest looking truck around, it runs like a champ too! I have been using this truck as my daily driver for over a year now. This is your opportunity to own a sweet truck with low miles and all the accessories already added! I have had a lot of fun with this truck and I am sad to see it go, but I really need the money so I must sell it. I have posted a low starting bid for the truck with no reserve! This truck has thousands of dollars already invested in it and is ready for the street or the dirt. Please read all of the below information and If you have any questions please ask and I will do my best to respond promptly.______________________________________________________________________________________________________The good:CLEAN TITLEAll blacked out power windows, locks, rear sliding window, a/c, tow package, cruise control, fog lights Maintenance:This truck has been maintained regularly with oil changes done every 3,000 miles with Mobile 1 synthetic oil and Mobile 1 high quality oil filters.-Distributor cap and rotor, spark plug wires, and spark plugs all replaced less than 5,000 miles ago-Water pump, thermostat, and all radiator hoses changed less than 2,000 miles ago-K&N cold air filter cleaned regularly-Driver side front wheel bearings replaced less than 1,000 miles ago Aftermarket parts: 4 inch lift kit by Superlift Black alloy racing wheels 35 inch dunlop all terrain tires Nerf bars Bull bar with kc daylighters Lumber rack with procomp lights mounted Weatherguard tool box with compressor mounted in it Semi air horns hooked up to compressor Electric brake for towing Aftermarket diamond rear bumper Diamond side rails and gate Aftermarket muffler Ram air filter system with k&n filter Seat covers JL audio stealthbox 10" subwoofer JL audio 500.1 amp Pioneer cd player 4 Pioneer speakers Dual Yellowtop Optima batteries __________________________________________________________________________________________ The bad: Remember you are bidding on a truck and this vehicle has a number of nicks, scratches, and dings here and there (nothing major at all!) that I am not going to list in detail. Most can be seen in the pictures with the worst being the rear bumper that is slightly bent. Any other issues the truck has that I have noticed are listed below. Gearbox worn – This generation of truck is notorious for having the gearbox wear out which causes some play in the steering. The suspension is straight; it just has a little play. This problem has been with the truck since I bought it and has not gotten worse nor has it caused any problems with driving the truck. Warped rotor – the brake rotor on the driver’s side front is warped from when the bearings went out which causes the truck to shake a little bit during heavy braking. This is also something that is an optional fix that you may want to take care of at some point, as the truck still stops fine. This was inspected by my mechanic when the wheel bearings were replaced. Coolant leak – after replacing the water pump, thermostat and all the hoses I have noticed a real small leak. I believe it may be coming from a heater hose but I am not completely sure. It only drips about 4-5 drips after driving for a while and the engine is turned off. So I have been just topping off the coolant reservoir every few weeks or so and have not had any further issues with this at all. Registration for this truck expires at the end of February so it will need to be registered (and smogged if you live in a state where smog checks are required). The truck passed smog with flying colors last time it was tested so it should pass no problem for you (I will include the receipts from the last smog check)._____________________________________________________________________________________________________ The truck starts right up every time without ever having a problem. This engine is strong and has tons of life left in it! Don't miss out on this ttruck, bid with confidence! Super low starting price with no reserve.MORE PICTURES COMING SOON!Thanks for looking, and God bless!
