Vehicle Detail
This is a 1976 Suzuki GT380. It is a 2 stroke, 3 cylinder, oil injected motorcycle. It has 20,017 miles. Great looking bike. Clear Ohio title. This bike was thoroughly gone over back in the fall. Starts easily, and idles great, but is a bit sluggish off idle (may need carbs tweaked just a bit more), runs great above 3000 rpm or so. All lights and switches work good, gauges work good, lenses are nice and clear, gear indicator works good, charging system works good, etc. Here is a partial list of what was recently done to the bike: 1. Top end removed, inspected, and new OEM Suzuki rings, and all new gaskets installed. (cylinder bores and pistons measured within factory limits). 2. Points cleaned, gapped, and timing adjusted to Factory specs. 3. New plastic timing gear installed 4. New seals / o-rings installed on neutral switch and shifter shaft 5. Carburetors cleaned and set to factory specs. 6. New carburetor upper rubber boots, and lower "diaphragm" boots installed. 7. Front brake system cleaned, flushed, and serviced with new brake fluid. 8. New battery installed. 9. New OEM style seat cover installed 10. Gas tank petcock rebuilt with new seals (diaghram doesn't completely seal off flow, so an inline shut off valve has also been installed). 11. Exhaust system cleaned, and new gaskets & seals installed 12. Probably much more, but this is what I can remember at this time. A few blemishes & items worth addressing are : 1. Tires have plenty of tread left, but do show some sidewall cracking due to age 2. Left headlight ear shows some light tweaking at the headlight bolt area 3. Minor rust in a few areas, like bolt heads, some frame areas, etc. (nothing major, just cosmetic). 4. A few of the chrome parts show some rust and rust bubbling, like the front fender and chainguard. (see pics) 5. Some rust bubbling on the gas tank just below the left side "suzuki" emblem (see pics). Overall this is a great bike, and these 2 stoke Suzuki's are becoming very collectable. They are a blast to ride, and sound awesome. We cannot provide shipping quotes, but we will assist in shipping the bike, if the buyer makes the arrangements. For domestic shipping, I'd recommend checking out Uship.com, or Haulbikes.com. Bike can be delivered to most places in the lower 48 for $400-$600. For International buyers, there are several companies that specialize in this, depending on what country you live in. Full payment due before bike will be released to a shipper. Up to 30 days of free storage provided with purchase. more pics → Images hosted by ClasPics.com : Post from Android
