Up for auction/sale is my 1975 Jeep CJ5. Engine and transmission work fine. This jeep does run, great in line 6 cylinder engine, powerful 3 speed transmission Please Read Description Updated! Sorry, had to fix some wording but should be good now... Heres what is needed:I am not a mechanic so i cant explain things real well... Yesterday i pulled it in the drive way to park it and the brake pedal went to the floor right as i stopped... so brakes went out. i dont know anything about mechanics once again.... Needs underbody work underneath the driver area body mount is rusted out missing. Yes, the frame is rusted in that area but i think it can be repaired. If I had a cutting torch and a welder it would be a great project for me but i dont. Parking brake does not work Wiper motor does not work Leather top is in need of replacement Passenger side exhaust pipe needs welded underneath passenger door Good Stuff:Motor runs great. 3 speed transmission and clutch work fine. New fuel pump.Heater works great on a hi lo switch. i have the heater hose out of the dash right now, i think it works better that way.Oil pressure, amp, temp gauges all work. I dont know if the gas gauge works never filled up.Pricing...Here is how i came up with it. I wanted to start at $2,500 but,I took off:- 500 to help for a new soft top- 200 for brake work-200 for underbody metal work- 50 for a new wiper motor- 50 to weld passenger side exhaust= $1,500 starting bid price... = $1000 knocked off the starting price for the new owner to get some much needed repairs done! :) Seller will accept CASH ONLY In Person, at Pick Up Buyer / Winner responsible for picking up or delivery / towing.
