Up for auction is my personal favorite porsche of all time. A 1968 912 5spd California black plate car. I have owned and driven many porsche's and this car is by far the best i have ever driven. I use it almost every day. My only reason for selling it is to keep my original paint 912 instead. THE BODY is all original. The underside has no rust, the only rust spot on the whole car is a bubble on the bottom of the passenger fender, The ossi blue paint is an older high quality repaint that still shines and looks great. No dents or obvious scratches. The front of the hood and bumper are quite stone chipped because i have driven it so much. Doors close with that famous porsche ping. THE INTERIOR is very nice with good seats,dash,and door panels. The only thing of note is a few small holes in the headliner. THE ENGINE is a matching numbers 128 engine but has been upgraded with an 86mm big bore kit to give 1720cc. No smoke or leaks. It runs amazingly well. The entire engine compartment has been dynamatted which really reduces the in cabin noise. This along with the smooth engine make it a real pleasure to drive. 5spd trans is fine with a good clutch and new shifter bushings. OG FUCHS WHEELS. Recently i rebuilt the brake calipers and fitted new flex hoses. Words cannot do this car justice, you really have to see, hear and drive it.
