The numbers matching engine has completely rebuilt and rebuilt; and has been driven less than 100 miles since. At the same time the transmission was pulled and rebuilt. The entire braking system was replaced, rebuilt, or restored. This great Volvo fires right up at the first twist of the key and drives smoothly through all of the gears. This 1800E runs and drives just as it did the day that it left the factory. The current owner started with an incredibly solid car and stripped the entire vehicle down to the bare bones. Any areas that that showed even the smallest signs of rust were addressed. The body was repainted after the work was done. The paint is driver quality, but could easily be lightly sanded and sent right off to paint. The body is perfectly straight, completely rust and dent free.
