1975 Ford F-250 460 c.i. V8 Utility box I have owned this truck for two and a half to three years and have never used it. My father drives it to the store about three times a week to pick up a newspaper which is about a mile round trip. I had intended to use it for an additional work truck but have decided to sell this and another pick-up and look for a larger truck. My father knows it better than I do and over the last couple years has began to clean it up. We have both F-250 emblems (new) for the front fenders and a used camper special emblem. When I purchased it I had a mechanic test the cylinders of the 460 and six were at 100% and the other two came in at 99%. Needless to say it runs very strong. The automatic transmission seems to be in great working order also. It must have a leaky wheel cylinder because it uses some (very little) brake fluid but we have not confirmed that. If it is not started with some regularity it takes some throttle pumping to prime the carburetor. The body is straight with no visible rust but it is definitely not a show truck. There are a couple minor flat spots in some body lines from its last makeover. The paint is in good shape but shows striping up close mostly on the hood and cab top. The back of the cab (outside), front of the utility box, the cab floor, interior of box, top of side boxes and ladder rack have all been Rhino lined. All compartments lock separately with a key. The ceiling liner appears to be homemade out of felt and looks cheep. We have a couple boxes of parts that will go with the truck (shelves and dividers for box, side mirrors, emblems, misc. bolts, wipers, tailgate, other misc. items). The odometer shows thirty eight thousand, I would guess that is plus one hundred thousand but have no way of knowing the correct milage. We have not checked the numbers to verify the 460 is the original engine. This truck handles really well which makes it a really nice driver.
