It has a 4-BBL carb with a correct functional Ray-Air steel lined hood and air cleaner that is both operational as well as good looking. This car also has power steering and power brakes both of which work very well and the body is in wonderful condition. The undercarriage has very little rust, however, what rust it does have is where you would expect to see it. So the frame and undercarriage is all in good condition. Anyone who watches the auctions on TV are reminded everyday as to the excellent investment buy the Oldsmobile Cutlass are now and will continue to be in the future. History Oldsmobile offered the 455 as an option in the Cutlass S models and the Vista Cruiser wagons. There was an SX option that became available in 1970 and was available only on the Cutlass Supreme hardtop and convertible. The SX cars all had the 455 engine and TH-400 automatic transmission. For 1970 and 1971, both the Cutlass Supreme coupe and convertible were available with the Code Y-79 high performance SX option package. The "SX" option included several versions of the larger 455 cubic-inch Rocket V8 borrowed from the Olds 442 along with the cutout rear bumper and exhaust trumpets, 442's rally suspension (optional), distinctive SX badges and other features. A W31 option added body color bumpers and a rear spoiler, distinctive stripes and badging, and a hotter camshaft with increased lift and duration for the 350 engine THE BIDDING & BUYING PROCESS Bidding By bidding on this vehicle, you are entering into a legal and binding contract to purchase the above described vehicle.
