1976 Jeep CJ-7 Well I'm sure no expert on Jeeps, but I got this from a friend who has not used it in several years. He was going to have the carburetor rebuilt , but put it into storage instead, and never got back to it. This Jeep originally belonged to the school district, and had a plow on it the entire time. My friend bought it from a school district auction. It's sure not perfect, and has the typical rusty spots most CJ's get. However, it has just 89,000 original miles on it, and it has the 4 speed transmission, as well as the factory hardtop and doors. He says, this jeep is mechanically sound. However.....this jeep is 35 years old and I am selling it as-is. I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in any way. This Jeep has a nice set of Michelin tires on it. My opening bid is $1,500 with no reserve. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it. Remember......It has been in storage and sitting idle for several years. I'm sure it will need a new battery, fresh gas, Etc. I have no doubts that someone more mechanical than myself could have this CJ-7 up and going again in very short order. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way.
