This is a NICE 280Z! Runs good, cranks good, no smoke and handles very well on the road. Former owner stated this was an original and rare Black Pearl 280Z from Datsun, and that there were only 1200 made. It does have the proper paint code. This car has never been wrecked and has NO RUST (not even under the spare tire). The odometer says 38k miles, but most likely 138k is accurate. It runs great, and is a VERY FUN 6 cylinder 5 speed to drive! The seats and headliner are in very good condition and all gauges work. The air conditioning works good and blows cold. We replaced the heater core, but it still needs a heater control valve to make it blow hot (we priced the part already and it's approx. $150). NO leaks! All mechanical work has been done with some by previous owner and have receipts for most, including all new: Brakes, Fuel Tank cleaned, Clutch, Pressure Plate, Bearing, Struts, Injectors, All new Plugs and Wires, Water Pump, Adjusted Lifters, Optima Blue Top of the line Battery, Fuel Pump, Heater Core. Brand New Exhaust System that includes pipes, resonator, turbo Muffler with chrome tip. Cosmetic work recently done: Brand New Black Gloss paint job and all new Datson Emblems, New interior carpet throughout, New center console, and replaced weather stripping around rear hatch. *Note: dash is original and has a few cracks, we showed pictures. All glass is good. 4 Brand New Dunlop Signature Sport 225/50/R16 tires ($550). 4 Brand New Panasport Racing Wheels ($1200). We bought this car April 2011 and love it but we recently purchased a 1971 Land Cruiser and that is our new project car so we decided to sell the Z. No surprises with this very nice Z.
