Vehicle Detail
2002 Chevy Impala LS - 3.8 V6 Engine - Sunroof - 178,063 One Owner Miles This car was highway driven because as you can see, the body is immaculate with a clean leather interior. Don't be afraid of this high mileage car. It runs and drives 100%. It is one owner - title says issued "NEW" and it slept in a garage most of it's life. Bid with confidence and drive it home. This car goes to the highest bidder. No Reserve! No Buy It Now!! No Trades!! Please don't ask! Car is being sold in "As Is" condition due to the excessive mileage and the "Check Engine" light is on. It is on due to a minor malfunction with the factory anti-theft system. It's actually not a big problem but the car cranks for about 1 to 2 seconds before it starts. This is enough to trip the "Check Engine" light. My mechanic can't figure out how to fix it. Once it starts, it keeps going - no problems. Everything else is fine. I'm not too sure about the fuel gauge either. It shows 3/4 to full, but these GM cars are known for faulty fuel gauge readings. We drove it about 30 miles and it did not run out of gas. Maybe it does work after all. Tires and brakes are excellent. No leaks, noises, smoking, misfire or slippage. New York residents are unable to bid or buy unless they are a registered car dealer, registering/re-titling the vehicle out of state or are using it for “Parts Only”. When a car is sold as “Parts Only’ or “Salvage” it must pass a NY State “Salvage Inspection”. This is done to keep rebuilt wrecks that are unsafe off the road – especially vehicles with frame damage or airbag deployment. My cars are rarely rebuildable wrecks and therefore will pass this strict inspection process when the problem that is advertised is corrected. There are about 10 to 15 NY State salvage inspection sites in NY State – 2 or 3 are on Long Island and there are a couple in NY City. Call me for further clarification. As a registered NY State dealer I am unable to sell a car that won’t pass inspection to a NY State resident. Anyone else can bid and buy. Sorry, I don’t make the rules but as a used car dealer I must abide by them. Any questions call 516-228-1016 and leave a message if I’m not in. Please don’t wait until the last day or last few hours to contact me. Please speak clearly. I will pick you up at the train or bus station. Winning bidder please leave a $300.00 deposit in PayPal within 48 hours of the auction close. If I don't receive the deposit within the 48 hours I will relist the car. Please plan on picking this vehicle up within 15 days of the auction close unless you have made prior arrangements with me before bidding. If the vehicle is left after 15 days your deposit becomes non-refundable and I will relist the vehicle. All vehicles that run and drive are driven at least 10 to 20 miles and usually 30 to 40 miles. I try to describe these vehicles to the best of my 35 years of experience. Our familiarity with these autos is limited to the miles we drive them. Please be aware of this when bidding. As always, if the winning bidder is not happy after road test and examination, I will cancel the sale and refund your deposit. “A bid on eBay is considered a contract, and you're obligated to purchase the item.” Final sale price is what you pay! (New York residents must pay sales tax and inspection fee when applicable.) There are no extra hidden fees!!! Good luck and thanks for looking!
