For sale is a 1988 BMW M6 in excellent condition. 97K miles, This car runs and drives beautifully. This is number 1646 of 1767 built in 1987-88. Exterior is Cinnabar Red and interior is Lotus White Nappa Leather. It has anti-lock brakes, air bag, heated seats, and onboard computer all very rare for 1988. Front and rear A/C works great. There are no fluid leaks from the engine, transmission, or differential. There are very few minor blemishes to the paint and no dings. Upgrades include Dinan Performance Chip, Bilstien rear suspension conversion, CD changer, Remote door locks. I installed the CD changer with an FM modulator so as not to disturb the original radio. It has 17" Beyern wheels with 235/45's on the front and 255/40's on the back. Front rotors and pads were replaced at about 87,000 miles and the rear pads and rotors at about 93,000 miles. Valves were adjusted at 90,000 and at that time the compression check was 1) 206, 2) 205, 3) 207, 4) 210, 5) 208, 6) 210. The valve cover gasket and spark plugs were changed at that time. The water pump, thermostat, and all of the water hoses were replaced in January of 2010. The ECU was rebuilt last August and comes with a five year warranty from that time.
