Vehicle Detail

1970 Chevy El Camino - 350 small block motor - 10 to 1 compression - Clay Smith cam (.525 lift and .258 duration) - Dart Iron Eagle heads with aluminum roller rockers and guide plates - Pete Jackson gear drive - Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake manifold - Holley dual feed double pumper with four idle screws - MSD distributor and ignition box - Aluminum water pump - Chrome pan - K&N air filter - Headers with Flowmaster mufflers and 2 1/2" exhaust - 700R4 overdrive transmission with shift kit - B&M shifter - 12 bolt positraction rearend - Lakewood ladder bars - Front disc brakes - Optima battery in compartment under the floor in the front of the bed - Original American Racing Torque Thrust wheels (15x8 rear and 15x7 front) - BFG Radial TA's - Gabrial Highjacker air shocks - New seat - New door panels - New headliner - New sun visors - Sony CD player with detachable face - Pioneer amp - Pioneer speakers in Pioneer boxes behind seat Here is a list of the things I feel the car needs - I may be a little too thorough but I want to be sure that if someone buys it sight-unseen there are no surprises when it arrives - There are some small rust bubbles at the bottom of the right front fender, at the bottom of the right rear quarter near the rear bumper and on the left side of the roof just above the drip rail - The one on the roof is about half the size of a dime and the paint has cracked - I put a little spot of black silicone over it to seal it up - The other spots have not come through the paint - None of the spots would show up in the pictures - The battery is in an aluminum box that in mounted under the front of the bed - There is a hole cut in the bottom of this compartment to allow the box to fit - The windshield has a light wiper scratch - The dash pad has a couple of cracks - Both rear wheels have some slight curb scuffs - The rear end has a whine (I changed the oil and there was some metal in it. No big pieces, just silver in the oil) - Although the axle is functioning I would assume, to be on the safe side, that it needs to be completely rebuilt While this is not a show car, it is a very nice driver quality car - The paint is 20 years old but it still looks very nice - The color is dark gray with black SS stripes on the hood - It has an original GM cowl hood - The entire body and the inside of the bed are very straight This is a real 80's hot rod that has all the right vintage pieces - It looks incredible going down the road and sounds just as good If you have any questions please use the "ask a question" feature in the auction listing - Thank you
