1969 CHEVROLET C0RVETTE CONVERTIBLE MATCHING #s - 350 - BOTH TOPS 1 This matching numbers 1969 Corvette is a fully documented from Larson Chevrolet where it was purchased new. I have receipts and records up to present day. I will tell the complete story as we go through the fifty plus pictures. I can be reached by phone from 7am to 7pm at 870 930 6104 CST. If you have questions I can walk around the car and answer your questions. 2 The protect-o- plate and all of this paper work came with the car when it left the dealer. The next picture show the original owner manual and still has the free coupon for your Corvette news magazine. The reproduction manuals do not have the coupons in them. I have a collection of the Corvette news and I will include one. I was able to have a reproduction window sticker made because I had the info from the original dealer and owner. It is the same one they use for Bloomington gold and in most cases do not deduct points. 3 4 5 This car has a solid rust free frame and is in need of nothing. It is ready to drive anywhere or take off to cruise night or show. 6 7 The odometer read 10,425 and I drive it some so it may have a few more miles on it before the auction ends. The 350/300hp was rebuilt before the car had a restoration and the odometer was reset then. I also have all of the paper work that goes with the professionally build matching numbers block and heads. It runs great and the temperature never runs over 180. It starts like it should and the auto choke works properly. The trans shift good and the car drives and rides great. 8 I take my pictures in several light scenarios so you can see the car in florescent, full sun and shaded areas. The pictures are just as they come out and not ran through a photo enhancing software to make them look better than they are. The car was restored about ten years ago and not driven much. The previous owner used the car for show in his parts business and car shows. I am a retired farmer and only sale a few cars a year that I hand pick. I only sale cars I would want to keep for myself. The trim rings, and caps are new and look great. These pictures speak for themselves. 12 RARE COLOR OUT OF 38,762 CARS MADE IN 1969 ONLY I,I69 WERE CODED 988 MAROON. 13 PLEASE NOTICE the clean neat body lines and door gaps. All the doors open and shut nice, smooth and easy. No wide gaps on this car and the paint has that deep shine look. 14 The B F Goodriches on front are new and the rear have 90 persent left. 15 16 Because of the GM strike in '69, they made cars up into December and this car was made in October. 17 Notice the GM hoses with part numbers and the factory correctness under the hood. 18 19 20 21 22 The top opens and folds out nice and easy as it should and the locks and hold downs work like they should too. 23 24 25 26 THE REFLECTION OF THE CHAT SHOWS UP IN THE PICTURES. 27 28 29 30 All the stainless is nice. 31 32 31 All of the glass is nice, but not perfect. I took this picture when the glass could use a cleaning. 34 35 This car does have a few flaws as all 43 year old cars would have,but is a nice car that anyone would be proud to own. It is a head turner and will appreciate in value as it gets older. 36 To be factory correct in 1969 the grill should look like this and not blacked out like a lot are. 37 38 39 40 41 42 43 44 45 46 47 The interior is real nice with little to no wear. EVERYTHING works - all guages, clock, radio and even the fiberoptics lighting. 48 If this was a four speed this picture show where your knee would be when shifting. With the auto, you do not have that problem. 49 50 51 52 53 The rear spring has been upgraded for a better ride. 51 52 The frame is solid and the cross braces behind the wheels have no rust. That area is the first place to have rust on these areas. 53 52 Terms of Sale The buyer will submit a NON-REFUNDABLE $2,000 deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Deposit will be made through Paypal.No sort of checks will be accepted for the deposit. An additional fee of $300 will be required of a buyer from outside the United States. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 7 days of the end of the auction. Balance and the fee, if applicable, will be paid by bank wire transfer. The buyer is responsible for all costs for the car when the auction is over. Also, with my insurance company, the coverage ends when the wire transfer is in the bank. The buyer will need to obtain coverage as soon as the auction is over. I will keep the car for up to 3 weeks in my garage free of charge unless other arrangements are made.
