1968 Camaro RS 327 *** No Reserve *** Up for sale is my classic 1968 Camaro RS Original 3-speed Automatic V8. That’s right, it is an original Rally Sport 327!!! This beauty is a California car and rust-free. The original owner didn’t have time for it and sat in the garage so there weren’t any major issues before we bought it half a year ago or so and began to restore it. Since then we have put alot of time and money into restoring it with tons of brand new parts and it is nearly complete. Just needs a few minor touches and you got yourself a complete and very rare original. If you scroll down I have included many pictures and a video at the bottom of the description. As you can see, the pictures/video pretty much speak for themselves. Everything was gone through for the most part, including paint, interior, engine rebuild, transmission, brakes, and suspension. The exterior was originally butternut yellow but we gave it a fresh new black paint job with white stripes for a very sleek RS/SS look. Customized with black accents to match throughout the car inside and out. As you can see in the pictures and the video the body is very straight and the paint is buffed to a high gloss finish. Lots of parts were replaced with brand new ones and restored those that were in good condition to keep it as original as possible. Replaced and/or restored the bumpers, trims, most weather stripping, dash, interior, headliner, trunk/lining, a new stereo, and on and on. Original leather bucket seats. Glass, windows, and doors are in good condition. The doors open & close well and don't sag like they do on some of the 60’s Camaros. Car starts up strong every time, doesn't overheat, and runs like a champ at all speeds. The 327 engine is mostly stock with some upgrades as you can see in the pictures. Including brand new Edelbrock carburator, filter, lines and distributor. Recently installed is a brand new dual flowmaster exhaust system. It has the factory automatic 3-speed transmission which shifts smoothly and is linked to a floor mounted staple shifter. Comes with the original rally wheels and Radial G/T tires. Custom wood trimming on the center console. Inspected and tuned all mechanical and electrical components. Easy to drive and a lot of fun! This Camaro will burn rubber all day with a blip of the gas pedal. No oil or fluid leaks anywhere. Also, as you can see from the photos the interior is almost complete. Scroll down for the pictures. This car is truly a rare original and a dream to drive. It gets attention and compliments wherever I go. The only things I didn’t get around to finishing are a couple of interior trims, a/c panel/vents, and the automatic hide-away light covers which should be an easy fix. I’m sad to say that I don’t have the time anymore to finish those last couple of items. Besides that the Camaro is very much complete and I welcome you to drop by and take a look.
