Service: Vehicle has been regularly serviced and was completed local dealer where I purchased the vehicle. Front/Rear brakes were replaced recently. Front rotors are new. Engine Light: The Environment Service Engine light which indicates there is an issue with one of the environmental controls (gas cap, o2 senser, etc) is on. Because I was selling it, I took it in and had the dealer run the code. They notified me that it was related to the Catalytic Converter (which is part of the exhaust system). However, due to the fact it's not causing any performance issues, they recommended continuing to drive it. They stated it could take 2-years before I would notice a performance issue and there was no-way to look inside to give an estimate how long it would last. The estimate to get it fixed was $1000.00. Of course I think it would be less expensive if done by someone else other than a dealer. Regardless, I took this full value into consideration in setting my opening bid/reserve for this vehicle. The Kelly Blue Book Value is $16,500 to a Private seller. The Trade-in value is $13,600.
