Hi. I have just spend over $700 on this car yesterday and this morining. Work done: 1. Oil change + filters. 2. Transmission front and rear mounts replaced. 3. Both oil pressure switches. 4. Radiator hoses replaced. 5. Handbrake repaired and set. 6. Tie rod replaced. 7. Distributer wires replaced. (Have receipts of all work done) You are basicly buying the car for $650. Body exellent. All trims. No scratches. Original paint, bit faded. (polish will make it shine again) Tires are 80% tread. Roof exellent. (One small tear about an inch long - not leaking) Engine and gearbox exellent. (These VWs is know for reliability) It has a clear title and I have the registration papers and transfer papers. The tags are also paid for 2013! Also have done the SMOG!!!!! so have brand new smog!!!!!!! Cons: 1. There is a small oil leak at front sump. Could cost up to $300 to fix. 2. Clutch is slipping only slightly when driven hard, otherwise fine and no problem to drive it like that. Part cost $180 3. Fuel gauge is not working. 4. Oil light is on, but oil level is correct. (sensor problem, but do not need to be fixed) Note: Miles of 46 000mi is not original. The odometer is not working. ***Please note it is a 5 speed stick shift***
