Here I have a 1972 MG Midget with a 350 sbc dropped down in it. It has a 3 speed Saginaw transmission and a narrowed s-10 rear end. This is a project car in the making, most of the hard work is done now it only needs finished. The only fab work left on the body is it needs a tranny tunel built and the rearend is not attatched. I had purchsed this car from a guy I work with, I had the intentions of finishing it and geting it road worthy, but just dont have the time and have a greater need for some cash. I got it exactally the way it is, I do not know anything about the condition of the engine or transmission, most likely the engine will need rebuilt. There is no exhaust or intake on the engine as well as a water pump. The interior is compleatly missing exept for the door panels and there is no steering shaft. The rear wheel wells have been tubbed out to fit much larger wheels, not huge but big for a midget. The fronts are 13" and in nearly new condition the rears are 235/60/14 and have good tread left but not near new. It stlill has the convertable top frame but when I got it the guy had made a removeable hard top seen in photos, it is not done, just skim it with a coat of bondo to smooth it up an put some attatchments is all it really needs. The whole body is in epoxy primer exept for the hood and trunk lid. The body work has been started but still needs alot of icing work to fill some small dents and imperfections. He had filled in all of the marker lights and the taillight holes. going for a custom look. I have the title in hand. I have described this car to the best of my ability so do not come back 46 days later wanting your money back, it is a project car and will need to be trailered home. I will not deliver.
