Meet "Thumper," a 1979 F100 4x4...I'm not mechanically inclined so all the information is to the best of my knowledge. 1979 F100 "badged F150," originally equipped with a 302, previous owner who was a mechanic from Blair, NE put in a 400..I've had her for about 3 months and wanted to get her restored top dollar. Mileage is exempt but was told by previous owner that the engine was rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago. Due to an unforseen family emergency ("help pay for dads funeral,") she needs to be sold asap. That's why the no reserve. I'll list what i just did: (by a professional mechanic) Things I know about..speedo does not work and dash lights don't work. Was told to clean off connectors with dielectric grease and they would light up..! ALL NEW FRONT END STUFF: Left Tie rod end Drag link adjuster sleeve center link pitman arm steering stabilizer new rebuilt power steering gear box Fixed sway bar end link New power steering lines (cooling return and pressure) new front left rim and u-joint engine inspected and only thing that needed replaced was a push rod and lifters (fixed and adjusted) I had a lot of plans for her..and hate to see her go...even my youngest boy who's in one of the pics is pissed. but what are you going to do? I get a thumbs up mostly everytime I get gas or just driving around in Thumper. I paid around 5k for it...lets get these bids going!!!
