I am listing my 1966 Chevelle SS396. I have had it about a year and am not going to get to it. It needs work, this is not a car you can drive home. I am selling it as a project. The cars original engine has been replaced with a 396/325hp motor out of another Chevelle. It is a period correct 1966 Chevelle 396/325 hp motor, but the VIN and casting dates are off from the car VIN. Still retains the factory powerglide transmission and non posi 12 bolt rearend. The car has AC, but not operational. Also has power steering. I have not tried to start the car or turn it over. The body needs most repair panels, but the frame and floor boards are in great condition. The car was brought to Iowa from Texas about five years ago. The trunk has some major rust. The car is mostly complete. Back seat is original. The car is an automatic on the column. Original color is Gold with two tone fawn bench seat interior. The car is a real 138 SS car and a great foundation for a build. I have the current Iowa title in hand. I also have some extra parts to go with the winning bidder. I have removed the bucket seats and dropped the reserve. I have also put another set of rallies on the car, so you will not get trim rings or center caps. NO FRONT SEATS INCLUDED AND NO TRIM RINGS OR CENTER CAPS. I encourage anyone who wants the car, to contact me with any questions. I will be glad to help serious buyers.
