Vehicle Detail
Original CA V8 Malibu 136 console car, w/original black plates, not a 6 cylinder base model. Originally had 327, but now has 350/350 from an 84' Vette, cam, headers, Edelbrock 4-barrel, runs great, fires right up every time, even when its been sitting for a while. Power steering/power brakes, front discs, SS hood. Been a nice garage-kept daily driver (except in rain) for the last few years. Reliable. Been on a 2 hour commute w/traffic, and no problems. 10-bolt rear. Factory gear ratio, so not too low, good for the freeway. Don't know a lot about the car other than the basics. I started to make it more of a pro-touring style hotrod over the summer. Had it lowered, new disc brakes, new upper/lower ball joints, and bought some 20" wheels for it. Running headers w/turn downs, so it sounds really mean. Its not by any means a show car, but its a nice looking driver. The paint looks pretty good from a few steps back, but close up its fair. The body is pretty straight but there's some dings, scratches, oxidation, chips, etc. Looks fairly rust-free all over, just some surface rust in the trunk, but no body rot or holes; probably thanks to keeping it in the garage. All the glass is in good shape, as well as all the trim. Carpet is new, interior is pretty nice, has original console, comfy seats, CD player with ipod cable. I still have the parts that were changed and they go with the car (springs, shocks, sway bar, misc). The 20s I bought (pictured) don't go with it, unless you add in an extra $2K to the purchase, I have a friend w/the same car who wants to buy them (or you can buy his which are black Porsche 19" w/adapters for $1K- pic @ http://www.cerchi-auto.it/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Galactic-Porsche-Black-Wheels.jpg). The old wheels/tires are nice Crager SS/BFG tires barely used. The car only needs a few things: bleed brakes, new front shocks, sway bar links, replace a few wheel studs (tire shop accidentally put on wrong thread wheel-locks and stripped 1 stud per wheel). And 2 mufflers if you want it quieter (threw away old ones). I'm only selling the car because I'm moving soon a wont have room to keep all my cars. Also selling a Twin Turbo 05' CTS-V, and a show-quality restored 65' Beetle. Any questions feel free to ask, thanks
