Here we have a nice little 64 1/2 mustang coupe K code 289 with 4 speed and 8000 RPM rally pack . This is one of the cleanest mustang I have ever owned . Car still has the original interior in it and as you can see looks very good for its age and yes the carpet is original . This car has been setting in a barn since the mid 80's and was last tagged in 1988 . The car is 99% rust free but has a spot in the battery tray the size of a quarter maybe and the corners of the door but everything would be a easy minor repair . The car has all its original metal very nice floors ,aprons and quarters. You wont believe how clean this car is in and the body has had one repaint . The Original matching numbers motor with the VIN stamped on it from FORD is NOT in the car at this time.It has a 1964 289 that runs well but smokes a little when it first starts but sounds good . The 4 speed is the original matching numbers VIN on it from Ford . Car has its original rear end in it . We just replaced all the brakes inc new shoes, wheel cylinders,all 3 rubber hoses and correct master cylinder and had the drums turned.The brakes are excellent now . We had the NOS gas tank cleaned and put fresh gas in it and it runs and drives well around the block have not taken the car out for a long drive . All the light inc Dash lights , brake , turn signals and head lights work as they should even the light in the Tac lights up . Clock isn't working in the rally pack . The interior lights work as well . The car has the correct hood on it with no lip on the corners . The drivers door has damage were it was opened to far but is very repairable . The car has the correct wider wheels on it for the K engine code with the wider lip . I don't think you could find a cleaner unmolested Mustang much less a 64 K code matching numbers car . The Original Matching Numbers block is out of the car and has a hole in cylinder 2. It has been looked at by a machine shop and can be repaired. We have the main caps the fan , the passenger side Hi Po exhaust Manifold and other parts (look at link for parts) . However everything else can be bought and the most important thing is the Numbers matching block .The Generator and all brackets are on the 64 motor in the car . There are pictures of all the vin's and door tag Info . The car was a July 2 car so was very early K code as the started building in June .
