Back again! After asking me to end the auction early (which I declined to do) and subsequently winning the car, the high bidder last go round sent me this charming email: "After checking with air fares and because of other concerns I have decided to pass on your car. I apologize for any problems this may have caused.... I should say that the main problem is I just cant spend 500 to come and see a car and then run the risk of not wanting it." Really!! Gosh, and I don't recall twisting your arm and compelling you to bid! People: please THINK before you CLICK! I am starting this vehicle at a low price without a reserve because I want to sell it! Check your airfares, come on by and kick the tires or have a mechanic do it for you, ask me questions, talk to your accountant, your boss, your mate, your Mom, your dog; do WHATEVER you need to do --- before you get involved!! so you don't waste my time or yours. My restaurant was not able to survive the recession but my Smart car has. I used this vehicle to deliver tasty BBQ around the Providence, RI area. The car was bought new, and has been regularly serviced. It looks sharp and runs well! It does not smell like BBQ! The seats are worn (see photo) and there is a small hole in the fabric on the driver side cushion. Some frustrated 'artist' decorated the gas cap lid and the adjacent plastic panel with their scribbles scratched in. Not too noticeable. The damage to the white area is minimal and did not show up in photos but can be seen from certain angles if you really search for it. The car was partially wrapped, and although the decals came off well, the outlines of some letters can be seen; again, you have to look hard. I believe the reason for this is that the area under the letters did not get sun or wear the same as the adjacent paint. The pistons that lift the rear window are not working.
