Hi there. For sale is my 1999 red geo.Let me tell you what I know about the car. I believe I am the second owner,and I know that the first owner was a woman.It looks pretty sharp for a 12 year old car.It runs and drives excelent.It has a 4 cylinder motor with a 5 speed manual transmission.Clutch feels good.motor sounds good with no weird noises and does not smoke.No fluid leaks of any kind.Interior is as good as it gets,this woman took great care of the car.The dash is not faded.The headliner does not sag.The windows go up and down with ease.All glass is good.The compression in all 4 cylinders is impressive around 200-210.This model is equipped with a back glass heater and windshield wiper.It has air conditioning.It has an after market stereo,and the instruction papers are in the dash,not that you really need them.Lights all work.Exhaust is air tight.It is Pa. inspected through march 2012. I personally drive a 1994 3 cylinder 5 speed geo 4 door.I love it,mostly because of the gas mileage.I thought it would be really cool to have a geo with a 4 cylinder that has a 5 speed transmission.With a 3 cylinder 5 speed I got up to 52 MPG on a good day with the wind on my tail.With this 4 cylinder 5 speed at best I may get 44,and I'm not sure I am willing to make that sacrifice.Besides with the set backs of Christmas and Newyears,I could really use the money more than two runable Metros.I have decided to list it,and if I can get a reasonable cash offer I will let her go.Look over the pictures good.Although it has a good apearence,there are a few spots showing some surface rust.I could have sanded them some and painted over them,but this way you see what you get.Someone asked about the A-arm surports.For those who do not know what they are...They are part of the unibody structure that surports the two front wheels.That was one thing I looked at closely when I bought this car.The A-arms were solid without any indication of allinement problems or odd tire ware.When I got home and put it on the rack for closer inspection.I noticed a small hole on the top of one of the A-arms,and when I poked around with a screwdriver it got bigger,the size of a nickle or so.The other side was similar.So to try to remedy the possible furture problem,I patched the holes and if you look close in the pictures you will notice a grease fitting into the hollow structure,I loaded the A-arm with a tube of grease on each side,to prevent furture rust.No garentees, but I think in years to come when the rest of the car falls apart the A-arms will still be in place.Please keep in mind that the A-arms were solidly surporting the front end when I bought the car,and still are.If you have any questions just call 814-746-1263.I may run the car some more so there may be more miles on it untill it sales,if it sales.I will have a reasonable reserve on the car,and if it does not meet that reserve,maybe that is a sign that I should keep it.A metro with this low miles with a 4 cyl.and 5 speed transmission are hard to come by.Again call with any questions,because I am slow to return E-mail.Also you will notice I have 100% possitive feedback.And having said that,If you do not have established possitive feedback (established possitive feedback 9 out of 10 possitive)please call before bidding or I may cancel your bid.All honest E-bayers understand this policy.Merry Christmas and a happy blessed new year to each and every one who may look at this listing.Marty
