Vehicle Detail
1986 Ford Mustang GT. 5 spd., T-Top, factory AC car. 5.0L 302c.i. V8. Adult owned and only driven on weekends. Runs, drives and handles better than new. Car was professionally stripped, hand blocked, repainted and decaled and is laser straight. 5k spent on this process alone. There are 2 pictures of when it was in the paint shop. Undercarriage is just as clean. Car has under-driven pulleys, March Air System, short BBK stainless headers, Flowmaster dual exhaust with stainless tailpipes, Ford Racing wires, poly hoses, poly bushings, sub-frame connected, strut-brace connected, front connected, complete Konig suspension lowered 2 inches, Hurst short-throw shifter with leather Cobra handle, and a new racing clutch. BBK 170 mph speedometer which shows 61,840 on the odometer, but I have no documentation to show that as actual. Title is mileage exempt and the condition of the car speaks for itself. Factory tachometer. Interior is very clean with no rips, tears or cracks. All guages work correctly. New Summit Racing Fast Five aluminum wheels, lugs and caps with new BFGoodrich Radial T/A 245/60/15 rear tires, 225/60/15 front tires. T-Tops do not leak and come with original storage bags. Original cargo cover and floor mats also included. Just a beautiful car. Take a look at all of the pictures closely. They should answer most of your questions, but here are some things I would like to bring your attention to. The front seats are in excellent condition, but are a little sun faded. The interior door panels are not correct to the car, but do match and are in good condition. The power windows are a little slow going up, but do go up all the way like they should. The power locks are disconnected, but work perfectly as manual locks. The radio is not hooked up. The fog lights are not hooked up. The original R12 AC works and is ice cold when charged, but seems to have a slow leak that has not yet been found and repaired. The car is in what I would call excellent condition, but expect some blemishes here and there as it is a 25 year old classic. If you require any specific pictures that you do not see, or you have any questions that I have not answered, please do not hesitate to ask. There will be no surprises with this car. I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. Bidding is open to all, regardless of location. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and all funds must be clear before the car starts the journey to its new home. I will assist in any way that I can. Thank you and good luck.
