Well I'm sure no expert on Land cruisers, but I ended up with a matching pair of 1969 fj-40's (same year, color, model etc). Please see my other auction for the other one. Item number:160701568376 This FJ-40 is what I call "Barn Fresh". It has been sitting idle for the last 4 or 5 years in storage. Its a bit of a project and certainly not perfect. The land cruiser is just how I received it, and could use lots of cleaning. The previous owner had big plans, but marriage, and family, moved this project to the bottom of his list.He tells me this FJ-40 was running and driving when he last parked it away into storage.He kept buying new goodies for it. He never planed on selling it, and always thought he would get back to it...(oh well). It comes with the soft doors and even has a soft top with all the hardware in a box as well. It has a near new set of Goodyear wrangler tires. This F-j land cruiser has very little rust, compared to most F J 40s. The frame and under carriage are excellent. The previous owner said it just passed Colorado emission before being put away into storage. I would say all the glass is excellent. There is no battery. It has a winch, but it is disassembled. There is also a brand new front bumper for it. (along with the other stuff). I have no doubt, that someone more mechanical, than my self, could have this up and going again in very short order. This land cruiser is 42 years old, and being sold as is. I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best, than be disappointed, in any way. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it. If I didn't think this is a good solid vehicle...I would not be selling it.My opening bid is 3,500 with no reserve.Now all this having been said, I honestly, can't imagine finding a more Un-molested, or more complete, F J-40 Land cruiser for the price. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when I first saw it sitting in storage.(it's needing a new home). Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
