Vehicle Detail
Well I'm sure no expert on Land cruisers, but I ended up with a matching pair of 1969 fj-40's (same year, color, model etc.) please see my other auction for the other one. Item number: 160701573793 This FJ-40 is what I call "Barn Fresh" It has been sitting idle for the last 4 or 5 years in storage. Its a bit of a project and certainly not perfect. The left rear window is cracked, and the land crusier is just how I received it. It is pretty dirty also. The previous owner had big plans, (and spent way to much money on it),but marriage, and family, moved this project to the bottom of his list. He never planed to ever get rid of it.(that's why he kept buying new stuff for it)...Oh well.He tells me this FJ-40 was running and driving when he last parked it away into storage. It has no battery. It has a new 6" lift kit along with a new set of 33x9.50 bf Goodrich baja champion tires. (zero miles). The rear of this F J is full of new parts ,including a set of brand new soft doors, new bikini top, tow bar, and lots of brand new factory Toyota, stuff in boxes.(I think it also has a a brand new factory toyota carburator). This F J jeep has it's share of typical rust, but I've seen a lot worse. I would say the frame and undercarrige look excellent.I have no doubts, that someone more mechanical than myself, could have this up and going again in short order. This land cruiser is 42 years old and being sold as is. I would much rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best, than be disappointed, in any way. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it. If I didn't think this was good/solid project...I would not be selling it.My opening bid is 2,750 with no reserve. Now all this having been said, I honestly, can't imagine finding a neater fj 40, with all the goodies, and as complete as this one for the price. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when I first saw it in storage. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. If you have zero feedback, contact me before you bid or your bid will be canceled, and you will be blocked from further bidding as well. A $250.00 non-refundable PayPal deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions end. The balance is due via bank/certified check, or cash in person within 7 days of the auctions end. If you are an out of the states buyer, I will gladly work with you in regards to the time and details it takes to process payment. Thank you for considering my auction, and Good luck bidding!
