Vehicle Detail
1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Factory A/C car just in time for Christmas!!! This Chevelle is extremely clean and looks great!!! Everything on the car has been completely restored and is a completely roadworthy vehicle. This would be the perfect car for anyone who is looking for the perfect 60's musclecar that is easy to drive, looks GREAT, and that can cruise comfortably down the highway especially with a working factory installed Air Conditioning System!!Here are some details and previous history on the car, including everything that I have done to the car since I have owned it. The car was a dry Southern Utah car very minimal rust, I actually bought the vehicle from the original owners about 8 years ago. Since that time everything has been restored & rebuilt on this vehicle ( Top to Bottom) ( Front to Back)...Being a dry climate car the vehicle had VERY MINIMAL rust. Body Repairs were correctly made, no shortcuts were taken here!!Solid car underneath not rusted out anywhere!! The car was painted in GM Butternut Yellow (Originally was Mountain Green Metallic), the upholstery was all redone about 3 years ago, had front bench seat recovered and the rear seat done as well. New seat belts, carpet kit, sun visors, door panels, headliner, and a new dash pad was installed too.. Vehicle Drive-train: To our knowledge the car originally came with a 283 V8, however at some point in its life the original motor was taken out by the original owners and replaced with a 350 small block. (Original motor is long gone). During the restoration we had the 350 motor, carburetor, drive shaft, and Power Glide Transmission rebuilt. I wanted to make the motor appear original, so the factory 2 barrel carburetor, intake manifold, and air cleaner were reinstalled back on to the engine. Air Conditioning: The car originally came with factory installed A/C. So the whole system was completely redone and works great especially on those long cruises that this car has done. I spent around $1,000 dollars alone on the A/C system. Remanufactured A/C compressor, dryer, lines, hoses, R12 freon, switches, etc.. Brakes: The car still has the original drum type brakes on both the front and rear of this car. New brake parts were installed: springs, shoes, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder. Car also has new shocks & springs underneath too!! Chrome, Body Trim, and Glass: The front and rear bumpers were rechromed and look great, and as for the body trim everything has been replaced with parts from Original Parts Group Inc. All original glass is in vehicle no chips or cracks! Other Details: The car does not have a functioning radio in it!! I'm going to leave this part up to the new owner of the car! I also installed a small after-market gauge cluster inside of the car just below the dashboard (Oil pressure & Water Temp). The car also has 4 brand new 14" Crager wheels installed on it too!! The car has a clean Utah title, vehicle is also currently registered in Utah, but is currently located & stored in my shop in Santa Fe Springs, CA..I'm selling this car because my dad and I have way too many other project cars that we would like to get done before we both get too old to restore them. So I'm not interested in trading this car for another finished or unfinished car. The car is also listed locally for sale and I reserve the right to end the auction early if vehicle sells before auction closes. If you should have any other questions or would like me to send additional pictures of the car please let me know.. Thank You...
