I drove this vehicle for about 50 miles and gave it a thorough test drive and inspection. This SUV runs GREAT and is VERY clean inside. The brakes, alignment, engine, transmission, suspension and drivetrain (4x4) all checked out wonderfully. The engine sounds strong and the transmission shifted very smoothly (SEE VIDEO). The tires are have a decent amount of tread on them (see pics). The exterior overall is good condition, there is a small dent on the hood which is rather hard to see (see pictures/video), there is also some light scratches on the driver side. There is some flaking of the chrome coating on the rear bumper as shown better in the video and some molding on the rear passenger side is missing as shown. Some very small rust spots exist on the lower panels (see pics). The rims are in fantastic shape as you can see for yourself. There is a new tailpipe as shown in the pictures as well. The Interior is very clean, the carpets have no tears or stains and the leather is in good condition. There is a small tear in the overhead shade of the front passenger side seat. There is some wear on the front passenger seat as shown in the pictures. There is an in console 6 disk CD changer. This vehicle has power windows, locks, mirrors, seats (and lumbar support), cruise control, A/C, and Fog lights (front left fog light is out, needs a new bulb) which are ALL working. The oil sticker states that the next oil change is needed at 119,528 which is in about 2000 miles. There are no indication lights on in the vehicle whatsoever. There is a spare underneath as shown. This vehicle comes with: -2 Keys -Used Floormats (non factory) if the buyer would requests them. Overall this a great running truck selling at thousands less than retail prices. This 1997 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 Eddie Bauer edition is in great running condition and considerably low miles for the year. I drove this vehicle for about 50 miles and gave it a thorough test drive and inspection. This SUV runs GREAT and is VERY clean inside. The brakes, alignment, engine, transmission, suspension and drivetrain (4x4) all checked out wonderfully. The engine sounds strong and the transmission shifted very smoothly (SEE VIDEO). The tires are have a decent amount of tread on them (see pics). The exterior overall is good condition, there is a small dent on the hood which is rather hard to see (see pictures/video), there is also some light scratches on the driver side. There is some flaking of the chrome coating on the rear bumper as shown better in the video and some molding on the rear passenger side is missing as shown. Some very small rust spots exist on the lower panels (see pics). The rims are in fantastic shape as you can see for yourself. There is a new tailpipe as shown in the pictures as well. The Interior is very clean, the carpets have no tears or stains and the leather is in good condition. There is a small tear in the overhead shade of the front passenger side seat. There is some wear on the front passenger seat as shown in the pictures. There is an in console 6 disk CD changer. This vehicle has power windows, locks, mirrors, seats (and lumbar support), cruise control, A/C, and Fog lights (front left fog light is out, needs a new bulb) which are ALL working. The oil sticker states that the next oil change is needed at 119,528 which is in about 2000 miles. There are no indication lights on in the vehicle whatsoever. There is a spare underneath as shown.
