For sale is a 2000 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel dually. I purchased this truck in 2006 and am the third owner. It had 44000 miles on it. As with most of this vintage and style of vehicle, many parts and repairs had to be made due to design flaws at the factory. I have invested over $10,000 in this vehicle and believe it can easily be driven to 300000 plus miles. I am listing the repairs and parts that were accomplished. All work was done at a local repair shop. I have all receipts. 1. New front end including hubs, bearings, rotors and brakes; cost $2148.40; date 08/24/07; milage 60272 2. Fuel transfer relocation kit (lift pump placed in fuel tank which was a Chrysler aftermarket modification) cost $1137.79; date 11/09/07; milage 63012 3. "Jasper" 3 speed automatic transmission 3yr/100000 mile warranty; cost $3664.45; date 11/14/08; milage 84774 4. Starter and block mountd lift pump: cost $800; date 06/09; milage 96400 5. Bosch fuel injection pump; cosr $1900.38; date 06/09/ milage 96609 6. Tires (50000 mile) cost $882.00; date 07/08/10; milage 123351; Have been rotated at 6000 mile intervals 7. Surface rust professionally repaired and rino lining applied to panels; cost$845.30; date 11/10/10 8.Edge chip with guage cluster; cost $800: date unknown, milage unknown. This chip adds 65hp bring total hp to 305hp. The guage cluster monitors vacuum, transmission temperature and exhaust temperature. Additionally, and swicth with indicator light was installed to monitor fuel pressure. If fuel pressure reuces to 4 psi or less, this light will come on. If the engine is shut off if this happens, the lift pump is warranted for the life of the vehicle. Vehicle has been serviced on 5000 mile schedule. THE FIFTH WHEEL HITCH DOES NOT GO WITH THE TRUCK, AND THE TRUCK CANNOT BE TRANSFERED UNTIL AFTER JANUARY 1, 2012.
