Vehicle Detail
Ok, here it is - 1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo complete with fuzzy dice in the mirror. Big Block 454 (to the best of my knowledge it is bored to 496) Weiand High Rise Intake 2 4BL Holley 650 Carbs NOS (connected, but no button) Brand New Hooker Headers Turbo 450 Tranny Full Cage Brand New Cooper tires Brand New American Racing Rims Brand New Hooker Headers New Plugs, Wires, and Distributor Front suspension rebuilt Switch box that controls power to ignition, starter, fan, and fuel pump. New B&M Shifter To the best of my knowledge the rears are posi 3.73:1 --- Now for the not so good -- I got this car from my stepfather that passed away, so I don't know the engine internals. To be street legal, it will need a turn signal switch, ebrake cable, wiper motor, and a gear reduction kit for the speedometer For the track, you'll want racing seats and a harness. The radio is missing. No Heat or A/C It needs a high torque starter (there is a regular starter on there now that needs to be replaced; CAR DOESN'T START with current starter) Lastly, the dash lights don't come on. I'm sure this is a simple fix; I just haven't gotten to it. -- In the fairness and honesty part, this car did have a booboo and came off of a trailer; however, THERE IS/WAS NO FRAME DAMAGE; however, I did need to have the fender pounded out, a new hood put on, and both painted. I'm being up front and honest, because I would want to know as well. This car is not perfect, but she's a head turner, fun to drive and a nice 10 footer. The engine screams like a wild cat. If you have questions, I will try to answer them to the best of my ability. Bidding is to BUY the car. If you want to look, look first then Bid. Lastly, if you search the VIN, you will probably NOT find it listed. I don't know why. It is NOT a salvage title, but this is the VIN listed on the title and the registration. Reserve is $10100.00 .
