Hi, I have a 2003 beetle tdi 5 speed manual that I have to sell due to change in profession. The car is in very nice shape and has been taken care of by a person that expects nothing but the best for their cars. It took me 4 months just to find the right tdi looking over 8 vw's before picking up this beauty. I wash the car weekly and always do a full buff/detail once a month. The only defect on the car is a small ding on the hood that was there when I picked up the car. . If you're looking for a nice clean vw great mpg then this is the beetle to look at. What to love about this tdi: There is no hybrid or gdi (direct gas injection) car out there that can match the power, mileage and durability of a tdi. I personally know 3 separate tdi's with 1/2 million miles on original engines and still going strong; one even having 910k on it. Show me one hybrid or any car for that matter that can match the miles of a diesel tdi. I love having 10 dollar inspections and being emission exempt. being able to run almost free on fry oil (grease kits). I'm 6'4 and I have a lot of leg and head room in this beetle. I just moved back from Texas a 1700 mile trip and averaged 52.4 mpg. usually I'm averaging 48 mpg in summer and 44 with winter mix diesel. This 2003 is considered the best year of the 1.9 tdi because its still easy to work on without the complexity of the pump duse. Again I wouldn't be selling my beetle if I didn't have a change in professions that requires a 4wd truck. I'm looking to get 6600 obo for the car with all the extra's. I could work out a better deal if you just want the factory stereo with oem wheels with new tires and no roof rack.
