Up for your consideration is a 1993 Lincoln Town Car Signature Series Royal Palm Edition. Please read the entire description and view all the available photos of the vehicle. It is offered at no reserve so please do NOT bid if you have no intent to buy as it will be sold to the high bidder. I purchased this car from the original owners in Dec 2010 with the intent to give it to my dad for his personal use. He has since found a newer town car and thus this car is being offered for sale. As it was to be for him, I invested quite a bit to bring it up to my mechanical standards. Below is a list of all items that were recently done.. - New air suspension pump - New air suspension springs (both sides) - New Tires (all 4) - New front brakes (Rotors, calipers and pads) - Wheel alignment - Belt tensioner - Transmission fluid flush - Coolant flush The car runs and drives as new. There are no warning lights in the dash, no noises, no creaks, no squeeks. Runs smooth as glass. Transmission is flawless....smooth shifts that dont skip a beat. Not a single drop of oil leaks from this car. 100% dry and looks incredible underneath. This car is a step above the signature series, and is the royal palm. With that you got the unique silver metalic paint, black cloth top, pearl white leather interior and the best wheels you could get on a 93 Town car. This car was also ordered with the touring pack which gave you a true dual exhaust (boosting power by 20hp), special suspension tuning and a few other things here and there. Driving a town car with this equipment is quite different than one without it. My dad and I have owned many town cars, and I will only buy them with this equipment. Inside the car is loaded with pretty much all the options aside from moon roof and the JBL sound system available back then. It does however now have an aftermarket CD radio. Only 74,500 miles on this car. Still a spring chicken as these cars can go to 200k with no major problems. Once again, it runs and drives perfectly and has no issues at all. What most people dont know is how well these cars do on fuel economy. I average 19-20 in city driving, and just drove from tampa FL to port canaveral FL last weekend with an average of 22mpg at 80 mph. Bring that speed down to 60-65 and you will see 24-25 mpg. This is a beautiful car in a wonderful color combination. The paint is not a standard silver, it has metalic and some pearl in it...it really looks great with the black top and the upgraded wheels. The interior is pearl white with gray carpeting and dash. One slight tear in the leather on the driver seat back(please see pics). Passenger seat is perfect and looks like not many people have ever sat in it. Same goes for the back seat. With all that is great, there are a few things that are not 100% perfect, so I will list them here so there are no surprises.. - Driver side front/rear windows have a mind of their own. Sometimes they will go down, and will need help going up. - Power antenna is not working. It is up and disconnected. That is it for the bad. Everything else works. A/C is ice cold, climate controls are great with no cracked buttons. All work perfectly. Mechanically it is superb and dead on reliable. I have used it personally for the past year and it has been great. Drive it cross country tomorrow if needed. Please look at all the photos and ask any and all questions.
