Well the story goes like this; for months I am hearing about a 70 charger RT all number matching 440 4 speed Dana parked running in 1980 father died and left to his son. Had some vacation time so off to New Mexico we go. We get there looked the car over examined the build sheet (not being a mopar guy all i could think is why is this not a 70 chevelle). brought the car home change the oil prelubed the engine, changed the oil again, cleaned the fuel tank and fuel system, changed the rubber lines. added a battery started it with the key and it fired right up and idled, great oil pressure. fuel pump started to leak so we replaced it saving the original. brakes are weak, 4 speed shifts great, dana makes no noise, the car is very very solid floor pans frame rails ect. needs trunk pan has original jack, fenders solid, doors solid, roof solid not even the stack damage dents they get from sitting, right rear quarter panel needs a lower patch, left quarter needs replaced due to a crease put in it and an amature repair left quarter wing has rust at side rear window. underneathe frame rails front and rear are super solid as is the floor pans. needs complete restoration but it is all there and original. how many of these are left? had a lot of offers and car is listed locallly. bid to win no disapointments here...trade considered if you havd a 69 camaro BBC or 70 chevelle SS in the same condition. you can inspect car at anytime, i have a lift available and can take any detailed pictures you need. can transport for 1.25 per mile. thanks for looking once car reaches reserve i will not sell out side ebay, it is only fair thanks for looking On Dec-07-11 at 13:51:46 PST, seller added the following information: yes the s/n is stamped on the engine and trans and match vin on the car pictures added. thanks for all the help finding numbers
